The Carvico Group has long embraced the principle of sustainable development as a smart driver within the industrial sector. The Yegof plant is a state-of-the-art, eco-friendly site designed to minimize environmental impact. It uses exclusively renewable energy entirely from hydroelectric production and uses no fossil fuels for heat and steam production. The geographic area where the company is located is rich in underground aquifers, which allowed us to create three wells guaranteeing total self-sufficiency for our production and significant support for the agricultural activities surrounding the plant.
A dedicated process water treatment system returns 100% of the water used for production processes to the surrounding environment. Before being released into the atmosphere, vapors from the production process are purified via a latest-generation Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP), ensuring efficient control of sub-micronic particulate matter, heavy metals, acid mists, and oily mists emissions.

We manage a state-of-the-art wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 3,000 m³/day, designed to be expanded up to 6,000 m³/day to treat and return reusable water for the production process. Through chemical, physical, and biological treatments combined with advanced oxidation technologies, we remove dyes and contaminants to meet rigorous national and international standards. Daily monitoring in our internal laboratory ensures safe and reliable results.
Electric Boiler System
Powering production with renewable electricity
We prioritize electricity over fossil fuels to combine industrial performance with environmental responsibility. Our facility operates entirely without fossil fuels, generating all necessary steam and heat for production, including for stenter frames, exclusively through high-efficiency electric boilers.

Our thermal power plant, built with electric boilers each with a power of 2.5 MW*, runs exclusively on electricity produced from renewable sources. The current fully electrified thermal power plant avoids emitting the equivalent of approximately 38.7 tons of CO₂ into the atmosphere per day. A simple choice with a significant impact, demonstrating our commitment to clean energy, a safer work environment, and a low-carbon future based on renewable energy and responsible industrial innovation.
